Longking Pro Environmental Campus

Longking Pro Environmental Campus is a landscape design for an industrial site in Longyan, Fujian, China. The campus covers 54,000 square meters of former agricultural land in a mountain valley. Factories are arranged around a central quad structured by a six meter grid of camphor trees. A water channel runs through the quad and gathers spring water, roof runoff and treated sewage, which is cleaned further by a biofiltration wetland. Recreational and social spaces, including a basketball court, are placed among the filtration systems for staff use.

Longking Pro Environmental Campus Industrial Public Landscape by Ballistic Architecture Machine (BAM) was featured as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Longking Pro Environmental Campus Industrial Public Landscape earned the Golden A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2023. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which honors exceptional design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
